Hello,

I used to be able to download youtube clips using (right-click) download video, however it seems to hang on me now and not download anything. Looking at the log I see the following :

I am on windows 7 64 bit, and can navigate and play videos fine. If I use an extension of chrome I can download it fine as well. However, in xbmc, this seems to be now disabled and it was a nice convenience feature.

Any ideas?

I'm also experiencing trouble downloading from Youtube. I was able to download five days ago and now I cannot. Anyone know a solution?

Hi,
I have the same problem, I was able to temporarily solve it by removing the temp file .xbmc/temp/commoncache.db

is there any other solution to this problem?

I also have this problem.
I have kodi running on Vista & Linux Mint & the problem is the same.
It was the same with Gotham before I updated.
Some content will play but nothing will download.
No message just hangs on preparing download.
