Linux XBMC video performance
#1
Hi guys. Heres the thing. I have a old pc that i use to watch movies an series. I update my media files to play them on XBMC but from there the video is to slow, like when we play a game with 10fps or something. That's not normal because when i had windows as my SO all videos (at 720p max) worked fine.

Is there any configuration that i missed?

Need some more info: Specs of the PC? What distro of Linux are you using? What version of XBMC are you using?

Pentium 4 3.0
2gb RAM DDR2
128bits video Card

Yes, it's old but it works on windows. I'm using Lubuntu and the version of XBMC is Frodo.
