just wondering how people organise their media.

i've been using xbmc for nearly 2 years now. (it's the reason i got my box)

i have some tv shows that i download regularly (eastenders)
which i either watch straight on the pc or watch on the main tv through the xbox via smb.
i have some divx films also in the pc which i watch, then delete/burn. i don't have any video files that i'd really want to watch again and again.
i've never used any of the database stuff in xbmc. it seems to me that it's geared up to people who have a library of video on their xbox or pc and regularly view media from it. do people really do this?

as i rarely watch the same thing twice, i haven't seen a need for organising the files in a library. am i missing out on something really cool?
i've only recently learned about putting a folder.jpg in the move folder to give a thumbnail for the movie file and folder. very nice. i may even put an nfo file in there so that xbmc can always find the correct movie info from imdb.

basically should i be using the library db or any other really cool features in xbmc that i may not know about yet.

sorry for the ramble, but i hope you get the idea.
