hi, i have the beta 1 installed and dragging it to the trash bin doesn't seem to uninstall it. i want to completely remove it before installing the new beta.
can someone help?

1) Create a copy of XBMC app and ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC.
2) Delete XBMC app and ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC
3) Empty the trash
This should delete all XBMC files that's why the backup is a good idea. ~/Library (user library) is hidden by default on current versions of OSX. You can access it from the Finder by holding Option while pulling down the Go menu.
Edit: Just curious. Why not just install beta2 over beta1? That way your library and settings would be preserved.

ok, thanks. managed to uninstall it, something went wrong with the user at first. managed to fix it.
