I've searched the forum and can't find any specific instructions to get Milkdrop onto the RPI to use as a Visualization. Did I miss a thread about this? Has anyone else done it? I apologize if there is some obvious reference somewhere on here that I'm missing but I'd really appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks.

I would also like to see if this is an option on the RPI. Honestly, I think the winamp forums would be of more assistance if you don't get an answer here.

If Milkdrop uses OpenGL (and I think it does) then it won't work as OpenGL isn't supported on the Pi - OpenGL ES is what the Pi supports.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

I don't know about Milkdrop proper, but the open-source alternative used by XBMC platforms is ProjectM, which added OpenGL ES support nearly two years ago iirc.

Thanks for all the info. So where is ProjectM available and is it useable in both RPI and Windoze?
