Apple App??

Love XBMC on my iOS devices. Have a jailbroke ATV2 and iPad mini with XBMC on both.
But I was just curios as to why XBMC cannot be an official Apple App for download from the App store
and load on non-jailbroke iDevise?
Is it a money thing or will Apple not allow it, or some other reasonHuh
The ATV I can see but the iPad?
Again just curious and if you don't want to post a reply I understand.

I thought I had added it to the wiki, but I guess not yet.

Long story short: we can't without making XBMC really lame.

However, if you share XBMC's library from XBMC on an existing device, you can use VLC from the App Store to view the library and watch videos.

I thought so. As someone who builds apps for both iOS and Andriod I can say the restrictions Apple places are ridicules. Thanks.
