Hello All,

I am total noob to XBMC, I did once have it installed on a Softmodded Xbox many moons ago.

I am interested in using either my 360 controller or a Remote to control my PC. My plan is to switch from my monitor to my Bedroom TV (both in the same room,) when I fancy watching a film/Netflix or using's Steams Big picture to play a few games.

I'd still have Windows 7 running but I'd like to be able to switch to XBMC so I can then hopefully launch say Netflix using the 360 pad and be able to power down the PC without having to use the keyboard and mouse.

So I am wondering if XBMC would be a viable solution to my needs?

Yes, on windows for netflix (xbmcflix addon?)bits and both remotes (mce and others) and the xbox 360 pad is supported.
