I am a newbie so please bear with me. I somehow have a log window on my xvmc screen at all times. It tells user, library memory used etc. How do I get rid of that? Please help!!!!

If it's everywhere, I suspect you might be talking about the debug log window... it's in settings?system>debug otherwise look at the skin settings for what is on your home screen.
