I recently installed a custom OpenELEC build on a Raspberry Pi and I'm having some issues with getting videos shared through SMB to play. When I click a video, it loads for 1-2 minutes then nothing happens. While it's loading, XBMC freezes. Once it finishes loading, it unfreezes but the screen never changes.
The only solution I've found it to go to Settings, edit my workgroup name (not actually changing anything - just editing then closing), and restarting. Upon restart, it will work fine.
When I get it to work, as long as I watch videos back-to-back, it works fine; however, if I let it sit idle for awhile, it stops working again.
Any ideas?
