Hi i need some help with this subject. Some of the streams stop from working after one minute, so i replaced the librtmp in Program Files/XBMC/system/players/dvdplayer/librtmp.dll with the one from K-S-V zip. It didn't change much. I'm not sure i did it right tough. There are also some exe files in the zip should i use them? And there is another librtmp.dll file in Program Files/XBMC/system should it be replaced also?
Thanks.

Doesnt KSV have a giant patch file in his downloads you can just apply?

I think this is just one of those things that needs to eventually become a binary add-on (once we have those), due to it it being updated so often.

Seems they've deleted the thread for some reason. Here's a web.archive.org link:

Hi,
I was quite happily using the XBMC version 12.4.0, which is Minix branded version of XBMC for my Minix Neo X7.
However, SportsDevil, the main reason I am using XBMC, stated in red lettering that the librtmp file needed updating.
My device is android. I have yet to see any stepwise instructions for doing this. My device is rooted, and I purchased Root Explorer. I deleted the original librtmp.so file, and replaced it with the most up to date one I could find.
I mistakenly did this before realising I had selected a "Gotham" librtmp.so file, so when I tried to open XBMC it immediately shut down.
I feel that a lot of people know what they are doing. I am very new to XBMC in anycase, and android is something completely new.
Is anyone out there able to build a new version of 12.4.0 with an updated librtmp? Embarrassingly, I don't know what KSV stands for. However, with instructions I am pretty much capable of doing most things with a PC. So, if there are any instructions for creating an *.apk file with updated version of librtmp.so, I am quite prepared to do this myself.
I read all the pages of updating librtmp, and what I can gather is that it is easier to install as a new *.apk. There is somebody called Red Penguin, who seems to know a lot of information about all this. I apologise as I only know what I know.
If anyone can help, advise, point me in the right direction that will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Matthew[/size]
