I have set up the new Google browser with tab casting so have been trying to get Chrome to "throw" XBMC to Chromecast. How cool would that be, especially in foreign hotel rooms!

So, I have accessed the server on both a PC and and Android Tablet. They are both looking "inwards" to their own XBMC web servers. But that seems to be as far as I can go. I get the XBMC Media Center front page and four tabs on the right labelled :Remote, Movies;TV Shows and Music.

Where to now? Can I achieve the sending of XBMC to Chromecast or is this a lost cause?

you are seeing xbmcs web interface. You won't be able to "chromecast" xbmcs gui and/or video that way.

Thanks for the reply. i thought I was on to something :-(

Is there any way that this can be achieved? Will there be anything in the future?
