Hi, I am not an expert at anything PC wise but I have XBMC Frodo installed on my Vista 32bit AMD triple core PC and all is good... almost.
I have a couple of HD movies (older films with quite a lot of grain) which stutter and don't playback so smooth and so I invested in a Radeon HD5450 graphics card. I assumed this would fix the issue but it doesn't seem to have done very much (My display seems to be generally a little clearer and defined but that's it). I have hardware acceleration selected and I use post processing (mainly for older movies).
I would welcome any advice but please remember I am something of a rookie Big Grin
Thx in advance!

I tried turning off post processing on these problematic films and it is a hell of a lot smoother. Would I generally need post processing more on older movies or lower quality XVIDs/DIVX?
