I noticed the genre from TheTVDB scraper is always English, there is no option to translate in their website. My question is, the API return the genre in English text?

How can I edit/translate the genre for TV shows on my XBMC? I don't want to use Ember or any other third part software.

Ok, my solution was to edit directly the SQLite db.

I used the software SQLiteStudio, it's portable and very easy to use.

Are two tables to edit: genre and tvshow.

Based on this experience it seems that genders are sent in plain English by the TVDB API.

Hope it help most people.
