I'm running XBMC Remote v1.0.9 Build Revision 1009 on my android phone.
I'm running XBMC 12.3 stable git 9ed3e58 on my Acer Chromebook C720 under crouton/ubuntu saucy.
I poked a hole for udp 9777 packets through the default ChromeOS firewall.
I have Allow Programs on this and on other systems to control XBMC checked.
I can see a process listening on udp port 9777 via netstat -an.
The problem I'm running into is that the udp packets arrive on the xbmc computer, but xbmc doesn't respond to the packets. I can't cut and paste the output, but basically each keypress generates two packets, approx 100ms apart that are 44 bytes in length.
Is there any way to diagnose this further?
