I posted and chatted live on MB3 site. I have yet to receive a response and the people in the chat room were not much help either- they are not like you guys over here. I noticed my RAM was at 84% used so I shut down my PLEX server and a few other things, which brought my RAM back to 43% and no hard faults. I am not sure if the lack of RAM or a conflict with PLEX was causing the problem. I have 8gb RAM, i'm going to add 8gb more. I know it all seems strange, but it is working great....so if it ain't broke....don't fix it.

I downloaded the WMC.PVR to my RaspberryPI, configured everything, but I only get the audio of the channel playing...I do not get the video picture. Any suggestions?

Yeah, you have to purchase the video codec for your rpi distribution online (its just a couple of bucks).

Installed the codec...works great!!!!!.....I really want to thank you for your quick responses. You are a great help. Since I have overclocked the RaspberryPI to 1000, going to look for heatsinks now.

No openelec experience, but I don't understand the question anyway. You can use xbmc to stream to the pi, so why are you asking about browsers? Maybe some more detail about what you want to do.

I want to take the PI to my beach house and stream the live channels from my home PC to the TV there. I currently use media browser in Firefox to do it on my android phone and windows laptop. So do I need to open Firefox on the PI to stream the live channels or is there another way to do this. I was told that XBMC would only work over a LAN at my home base, but will not work over WAN. Do I have wrong information, any suggestions?

I see, thanks. afaik you are right, xbmc won't do this. I don't know about the browser on pi either, hopefully some else will help.
