Lightbulb  Slingbox client and Slingbox SlingPlayer support built-into XBMC?
Post: #1
has anyone started looking into slingbox support? slingbox also supports windows media connect. i dont know if wmc is on path for new features.

adding slingbox support would take xbmc to the next level, by allowing all stb functionality, including dvr (should it exist in the stb) in addition to core features.

thanks!

Hi!

I just purchased this wonderfull product called a slingbox for stream video over the internet. It works very well I might add. Yet I'm wondering if there's any way of installing slingplayer (client side) on the xbmc...

Please let me know,

Thx

If it supports WMC, maybe it's doing UPnP? XBMC has a UPnP client.

Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

This is exactly what I came to this site looking for. Has anyone gotten anywhere with this yet? I want to keep up with my NFL team no matter where I go.

I was just wondering where this ended up? I have a sling box and I thought it would be cool to be able to connect to the slingbox via XBMC.
