First post. Hello everyone - been using XBMC for one day now - absolutely love it. I have tons of addons - love the skins - great all-around program. The only thing I couldn't figure out yesterday was how to get slingplayer working. I just perused all the comments and I think I found my problem, but I'm not home to confirm it, so I thought I'd ask:
The slingbox name you give it at setup - and the slingbox live login are not used in the username slot - is that right? What everyone is supposed to use is Administrator - yes? Followed by your password.
Thanks for any help - I'm sure this threw a lot of people off.
Slingbox client and Slingbox SlingPlayer support built-into XBMC?

I'm going to answer my own question for anyone who was curious.
Yes - everyone needs to use Administrator - it's the only option that works. Now to figure out the custom settings to get higher resolutions, and how to change the channels with an apple tv remote. |

I am a bit confused reading the posts in this forum whether / how "channel up / down" works. Do I read this correctly that the channel change does not work with an Apple Remote? so i changed the button maps and that is now working.. The only thing that does not seem to be changing is the resolution or bitrate on the video? is this a common problem?
