Hi all,
I´ve configured 2 profiles on my Zotac AQ01 (XBMCbuntu): one for watching movies, the other for listening to music (FLAC, ALAC...). Both profiles do work perfectly with their individual settings. What I want to do is set the 'music' profile as default and start XBMC without a connected monitor.
After a lot of research the way seems to be creating a edid binary which X11 "talks to" at startup.
I´ve already checked out the article in the wiki. The first problem: I do not have the nvidia-xconfig. The nvidia-settings-tool is there, but no xconfig.
At the moment I turn on the TV, switch to the 'music' profile, and turn the TV off. Music still plays on my surround receiver over SPDIF. I use my Iphone with XBMC remote. ...an awesome combination....
It would be perfect if I would not have to switch the TV on when I want to head thrash metal
Any hints?
Up the irons!
