Invalid Argument error/crash when opening large folders on SMB shares

Log file for "Invalid Argument" error: http://pastebin.com/r7LQaBP0
Log file for crash: http://pastebin.com/LjfrLh4P
Ubuntu 13.10 running on an x64 arch, XBMC version is Frodo 13.02(I think)
installed via sudo apt-get install xbmc

How to reproduce: Create a SMB share on a Windows 7 64-bit computer, and have XBMC navigate to it. Open a huge folder inside that share (in my case, said folder is 1.2 TB, 123,756 Files, 3,921 Folders). Program will think for roughly 10-20 seconds, then show either Error Invalid Argument, or completely lock up, requiring you to perform a hard reset on the system. Log for each has been posted. One doesn't seem to happen more often than the other. Smaller folders don't have this issue, and playback of video files in those folders works as expected.
