I know, water and oil don't mix, but it's possible for apple ipad and google chromecast?

I know on android devices you can change Playercorefactory.xml and allow chromecasting of XBMC.
But I wonder if it's possible on the ipad? I have an iPad2 jailbroken and it's working like a charm but would be even better if I can castit.

not really a solution, but I use the yatse app + the stream plugin to cast from my ipad and atv2 to chromecast
you need an android device however for yatse, may help if you happen to have an android device around
