XBMC on a Samsung 500T Convertible & Win8.1
#1
I've installed and configured XBMC v12.2 Frodo on my Samsung 500T convertible Windows 8.1 tablet.
I've tried many of the different video setting and all make no difference and shows the video, but the quality is certainly unviewable video.
Videos display is almost a completely grey, pixelated view, but audio is fine.
What video settings should I use, or should I go a different version that will work better with this laptop/tablet?

Tried playing the same videos via VLC? Make sure you have the latest drivers. You might want to use XBMC 12.3 or the latest XBMC 13 Beta 3.

It has been discussed before. I gave up on mine about a year ago. The specs just aren't that great. Maybe give this a try. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...ight=Z2760

It's unfortunate that these tablets were so expensive considering the fact they're using updated hardware of what was initially used for netbooks back in 2008. At least the current generation of Atom SoC's have remedied the issue substantially...
