Hi,

I tried using this as a pvr for the Amazon Fire TV after seeing some getting it to work. However, I'm having some issues. When I select any of the Live TV options, I get an error saying no PVR clients have been started. Logs linked below. I can also produce XBMC logs if need be.

Do you know your way around XBMC PVR stuff etc and have previously got ServerWMC working with XBMC clients on windows or linux? Just trying to ascertain your experience level

Your ServerWMC log shows it is unable to bind to port 9080, did you resolve this by either changing the port ServerWMC will use (and correspondingly adjust the port configured in your XBMC client pvr.wmc addon settings) or get rid of whatever else had that port in use?

I assume you've installed the correct pvr.wmc plugin for your platform, architecture, XBMC version, and configured it correctly?

Did you configure and enable pvr.wmc add-on? Did you "enable" Live TV in XBMC settings?

Thanks, guys. I had something else using the same port so I switched to another. It's working now, but frequently crashing. I'll have to play with it when I get home, but I'm guessing the large amount of channels is to blame.

Did you get live tv to work on the fire tv? If so how? I have serverwmc setup and all my computers running xbmc can watch live tv, but I am unable to get the fire to work. I assumed it was a mpeg codec issue. Any help is appreciated.
