I have been reading the wiki on advanced settings and think I can get this setup but need a little help.
I want to add the .ssif extension to XBMC then have it auto play on my TVs built in player. Which is UPNP and I also need to modify the mimetype (faking mp4 or mkv mimetypes should do) to let my TV accept it.
Currently I can get this to work by renaming the file to the wrong extension and from the XBMC file manager doing a "play using"
This will let me watch full untouched Blu-ray frame-packed 3D easily which I would like.
I already found how to add the extension easily but not how to set a custom mimetype. Also I saw the part on external players but I'm not sure how to tell it to use my TV's UPNP Player
