I am very new to this and am having trouble getting the Sky Sports F1 channel. Can anyone help me? I am using this on my windows 7 laptop if that helps.

Since Sky Sports is a premium channel, do you have an active Sky subscription and all the hardware required to use your card? If not then there's your problem.
If you're talking about piracy then go elsewhere.
