Adding an internal HDD - how do I do it?
#1
I have a hand-me-down HTPC which I use for movies. At the moment I have an external HDD connected by USB but want to use an internal HDD as the main source, the HTPC has a SSD for openelec / boot but this is too small. I have physically put the HDD in but can't see it in File Manager but I could be looking in completely the wrong place, I am very new to all this and probably count as a geriatric so be nice to me please

Thanks, Phil

Thanks for that. The HDD is new out of the box, do I need to initialise / format it in any way? I can't see it in file manager
