If I go to customize home menu, and remove favorites, music, pictures and so on, they are still visible at the home screen.

Cannot reproduce it. If I disable them, they aren't displayed.
Maye there was a bug in the package of this afternoon. I've uploaded a new one 2 minutes ago with an alternative optional home menu. Please try this and enable/disable each menu item once, maybe there is an issue with your skin gui settings file and this should do a "reset".

- Widget info layout is completely changed for the in progress, movies, tv shows tabs
- Increased the widgets up to 10 items
- You could now change what kind of widgets are displayed at movies/tvshows -> recently added or random

I have one feature/design suggestion. Wound it be possible to get the Video OSD's mor consistent? I mean the transissions from the dialog to the Video picture.
Basically using the OSD here but replacing the Cover with the Logo of the channel and the right part with the Information of now and next.

I hope you know what I mean, my English is not the best (German would be easier)

And I have another request. As i try to make your skin to look as MCE like as possible (a really more modern Version of), I would like to be able to set the Background for all Menu items to a single image and also to set the Item picture itself (at the Moment it uses Fanart i think).

I will add this feature tomorrow. No prob, but this only will work if the alternative home menu is enables. Otherwise it will overlap with the normal one.

Took me a while to get this going as I initially just used "install from zip" (and yes I converted the RAR to a zip) but it didn't overwrite anything in /.xbmc/addons/skin.refred/

So I simply unzipped the .rar file and replaced the content manually via FTP. Job done.

Loving this skin so far, keep at it! more views would be epic if you feel the need to plug more in that is.

Oh and thanks for the "Power" button on the home menu, MUCH appreciated add-on for those who are too lazy to reach for a keyboard or get up and press the power button.

Done, download the new package There is a new radio button below "Use alternative home menu"

- fixed the "in progress" tab: No more empty info boxes for position 8,9,10
- fixed widgets: Longer labels won't be cutted off now, if the focus is on position 9 or 10
- added the possibility to move the widgets closer to the alternative home menu
