Release [beta] reFred - 1.2.0 Beta 1 released

Thanks. It's stable enough to use it as main skin. Custom menus is supported. You have two "my menu" options which you can configurate as you want.

Thanks for quick answer. BTW I like this new OSD you are making Smile. I miss Play trail option like the ACE has, when you choose a movie directly from the main menu, when you are focused on the Movies. Do you know what I mean?

Ok, maybe you'll think about it Smile. Thanks anyway.

Not really, This would cause a complete rework of the widgets Wink

I have one more question and then I will stop nagging (for today Smile ). Would it be very hard for you to implement clock with current time to be visible when watching video and tv in fullscreen. The best place for clock would be bottom right corner, like in picture that I have attached. I would like to see that such option could be enabled in skin settings, so the clock would be always present. It is just a suggestion, I got an idea when I saw this on my friends tv, and it is very practical cause you always know what time it is if you have to go somwhere or do something at certian time and not in the way at all. At the moment no skin has this option.

It's implemented, but only visible when the player controls or info OSD is activaed (key: i or enter). You also have to enable the clock in the skin settings.
Always present is a special thing, which only would fit to your needs. The most users won't like it. Me neither.

I would vote -1 for this. It will irritate me having the clock constant on screen.

Why not buy a wall clock Wink

That is why I wrote, that it could be an option in settings to enable or disable it. So that people who don't want it won't see it Smile. I don't see why this idea is stupid. If anyone will point me into the right direction I will try to implement this myself.

I thought the same thing ^^

Sry qzem, we r just joking. Don't be pissed off Smile

As far as I know it's also not possible. During the playback no OSD or window/dialog is active. It's the pure "stream" of the xbmc core.

@saulfred
I noticed 1 thing in PVR channel window.
When i go to LiveTV and chose channels I need to hit right direction button once to scroll between channels when kiosk is enabled.

And 1 request i mentioned before is a upcoming recording indication when LiveTV is activated in main menu.

@schumi:
I will test the PVR kiosk thing. I never have kiosk mode enabled. Women reasons? Wink

What exactly do you mean with upcoming recordings. I never do recordings because recording german television is like collecting garbage bags - no need to record this crap. Do you have an example (another skin maybe) how it should looks?

edit:
Download again. The PVR kiosk issue is fixed. The main menu button will lead directly to the TV channels menu.

Small update:
18:26:
- Fixed: Background video playback will be displayed correctly now (youtube videos did not worked for example)
- Fixed: Now playing item @Home. It won't display empty information fields anymore (Radio stream for example) and it displays the thumb if no poster art is available
- Added forgotten fallback backgrounds for the widget items
- Small issues on the music visualization OSD.
