This is my first pass at an Instagram addon. I saw some activity on this about a year ago from other members, but never saw anything released.

Currently, it lets you view your feed, popular photos, and the Boston Common (so I could test out the location feed). I'm hoping to add search capabilities soon.

This also works with the Plugin Slideshow screensaver addon.

To get this working properly with the Plugin Slideshow screensaver, one line of code needs to be modified. I've submitted a request for a patch to that plugin, but have not gotten a response yet, so the user needs to make this modification manually. This is described in the README.

This is my first time developing for XBMC, and I welcome any feedback I can get.

All installed but reading the instructions to add this into the slideshow screensaver, im stuck.
Can you be specific in what file needs to be edited.

I can find line 107 in addon.xml within <xbmc_addons>/screensaver.plugin.slideshow
but this doesnt look like the correct place to be editing to me.
this file is full of language strings.

Can you advise?

I was just searching to see if someone had already made an Instagram addon, and found this thread. Where did you submit a request for a patch? I don't remember this and can't find it on GitHub or in my PMs or in the PSS addon thread.

Hello, I was trying to install this add-on, but always throw me an authentication error when i launch the application, i think i need to change my redirect uri direction, somebody can help me?
