So I have looked around and haven't found a post with a similar issue to this but I am trying to set up Nextpvr as an XBMC backend on my client computer. If I go into NextPVR I can set up the client and everything works fine, however when I try to use the add-on and XBMC the EPG data loads but when I try to play back a channel I get the following error.

Hey so I figured out my problem kind of an stupid mistake actually, I had entered the forward slashes before my server name thinking it need this for the path. Basically just put the name of the PC as the 'host name'. ( i.e use 'JARVIS' not '\\JARVIS' for me at least). Just thought I would share in case anyone else runs into it.
