Bug Playback of a Live-TV channel favourite isn't recognized as live tv playback
#1
Hey guys,

I added a widget bar to my skin where the user can place up to 8 pvr channels (catched from his favourites).
This works correctly but the playback isn't correct. It doesn't start as VideoPlayer.content(livetv) and it seems it plays it as a stream (I guess).

The favourite script will use "PlayMedia(pvr://channels/tv/alle TV-Kanäle/6.pvr,return)" for example. But this causes into the wrong playback and it's not recognized as VideoPlayer.content(livetv).

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I found out that it's also not possible to switch the channels by up/down or to fetch the complete EPG data by this way.
I assume this is a PlayMedia() bug directly in XBMC when the PVR protocol is used.

How is the channel playback started when I'm in the channel/epg view?
Maybe I can create a PVR channel group called "widgets", which will be included in a list container on the home view and I can open them in the usual way or open the GuideInfoDialog. But I don't have any idea how to get this done.
