Hello,
I'm having this problem since a long time now (before XBMC Gotham) and I didn't see it mentioned anywhere so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong (or maybe I'm just really bad at searching these forums).
I'm using XBMC on a Mac Mini connected to a TV screen.
When I want to use it:
- I turn ON my TV, the TV shows a black screen indicating a "No signal" message
- I wake-up my Mac Mini (actually I just wake-up the screen, the computer itself isn't asleep) with the Apple remote configured to start XBMC.
When I start a video it will not have any sound and it will stutter so I'm forced to quit XBMC and restart it in order to have everything working correctly.
If the computer isn't asleep I won't need to restart XBMC.
I tried XBMC Gotham betas and this issue was present in beta 1 and 2, fixed in beta 3 and back in beta 4 and rc 1.
I just retried beta 3 and I can confirm that this beta fixes this problem.
I guess I could just change the computer settings so that the screen never goes to sleep but it sill looks like there is a bug here.
