Is there a way to have xbmc still run (play music ) when closing over the cover. If I'm air playing music from ipad to airplay device, as soon as I hit the home button or close the cover, the music stops.

For some reason XBMC will pause the music when it closes or switches apps. Probably because that is what you would want to happen if you were watching a video, and the behavior is the same for both music and video. However, all you have to do is bring up the miniplayer/control center screen for iOS and you should be able to resume music playback, and XBMC will happily play the audio in the background.

Got it Ned. I didn't even think in bringing up the music control and trying to press play.
