Bug No subtitles with "sync" icon to download
#1
Bug
Hi

You have fixed the downloading "sync" subtitles that were not showing in Gotham (when playing a movie that is already in the HDD). Cool
But I guess the same problem is when the movie is streamed in torrent then "sync" logo will not appear (just "cc" logo).

Anyone else has this problem?

Hope it will be fixed the same.
Cheers.

No subtitle with "sync" to download so cannot know what subtitle is synced with the movie that is streaming.

With a movie that is not streamed (in the HDD) there are "sync" subtitles to download.

I hope I have explained the problem better now.
If no then please tell me what is not understood.

Cheers.

The sync shows only if the subtitle service finds a sync. 99% the problem is in their side. What service did you use? Tru to report it to the developer of the subtitle service

I understand the subtitle adons match sync'd subtitles by filename.

How you expect this to work for streaming services I do not know.

And anyway most of the streaming services are taboo here.

I see...
Thank you.

I'm not a dev guy but what do you think about a way to make the system be able to read the stream filename and search the appropriate sync subtitle that way?

I have tried to watch the same movie from both stream and HDD and just from HDD it shows\finds the "sync" ones.
