How do you stop an "on the fly" recording?
#1
Hi all,

I have been searching high and long but I can't find this addressed anywhere.

How do you stop an "on the fly" recording triggered from the "record" button apart from shutting down serverWMC?

I only have the "delete" option in the context menu in the recordings section.

Thanks in advance,

Nikolaj

You see a timer for the recording in the timers list, near the top. Delete the timer to stop the recording.

Ok thanks Krusty - I'll try that. I think it could potentially be more obvious:

1. If you press that record button again it could be an option (I know this adds to the time currently)
2. Using the context menu in the EPG to "stop recording" but currently the on the fly recordings seems not connected to the EPG at all (probably because it's serverWMC that does the on the fly recordings).
3. Context menu in the "recordings" section could have an option to "stop recording" too.

Just a few suggestions - trying to maximize the WAF here Smile

As you stated, the problem is that the 'red dot' is not showing up on the in progress recording. I will take a look at the code again and try to figure out why this is happening.
