WMC / xbmc EPG not same
#1
Hello,

Have installed and got running the serverwmc and pvr software and seem to have access to all channels as made available from wmc. The EPG however consistently reports no available information for some channels in xbmc, whereas the EPG information is available when view directly in wmc.

A recent log here:

Checked what I thought might make a difference in the serverwmc setup, but to no avail.

Regards

Hi,

The link you posted didn't work. Beside posting the serverlog let us know the channel numbers that have no data in xbmc. A screenshot of the wmc data for these channels might be helpful too.

Sorry, will try again. Not used pastebin before:

The channels missing EPG data are for example, channel 7, 71, 72, 73.

Will get screen shot and post shortly

That's curious all right, the log makes it seem like everything is fine with these channels. I think the database in xbmc might be messed up, so first try resetting the pvr database in xbmc.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then turn this setting on in the config.xml file (see debug tab):

set Debug_AllChannelDetail to true

Then restart serverwmc and then xbmc. After the epg is loaded in xbmc, post the serverlog again. Turn this setting this back to false when running normally.

Settings>Live TV>General>Reset pvr database and settings>Live TV>EPG>Reset epg database It's probably best to turn off Live TV first in the General section then turn it back on after reset
If I have been of help, please add to my reputation as a way of saying thanks, it's free.
