I am trying to play back a video that has been encoded with H.264 at a resolution of 1080P. (I just performed a git pull --rebase yesterday afternoon to make sure I had the latest source code.)

XBMC for Android crashes with what looks like a seg fault with this video.

I am using the Media Codec and trying this on an LG GPad. The built in video player that comes with the GPad can play back the video.

Can anyone confirm that XBMC can play back 1080P video using the Media Codec on Android?

What branch do you recommend as the most up to date and stable?

I noticed the seg fault in an old version that was based on a git clone I performed back in January. That is why I updated the code base.

I am willing to test a different version of XBMC to see if the error occurs there as well.

Please use the Gotham branch. That's the one we are focussed on right now.

I tried this again using a Gotham Beta 2 that I downloaded from the xbmc website. The seg fault occurs in this version.
