Hi there,
I'm looking for a simple way to turn on my TV display easily without having to use the TV remote.
Let me explain... I have a Raspberry Pi 2 running the lateast version of Kodi, connected to my TV. When I turn the TV display off, of course Kodi is still running in the background. To reactivate the display, I have to use my regular TV remote. However I have observed that if I restart Kodi completely (using the mobile Kodi remote app for example), it makes my TV display turn on again.
I would basically like an ability to do the same, using the mobile app or any other way, without having to 1/ restart Kodi 2/ use my regular TV remote.
Why? For the ability to do it remotely when I'm not even at my place.
I was wondering if some HTTP request could do the trick, or any other way which I don't imagine?
Thanks a lot and happy Kodiying,
Romain
