I have installed XBMC on RP as a complete image and it successfully runs and mounts a USB HD with my music
I have also installed XBMC V13.0 on Ipad
I have full access to the USB drive (music etc) under the 'remote control' mode on th IPAD but if I go to Music icon then "Files" I see only Music and Music Add-ons but not the USB drive
I can see, however, a remote server shared file (via WIFI to Windows PC) and have full access to it
I had this problem with the previous version of XMBC on Ipad as well

Any ideas how to fix?

I guess you need to add the source for the music section aswell? (same you did for the video section)
