I'm using the latest Frodo, and I cannot find the option to Hide progress of library updates. I'd like to be able to see updates, but I can't find the option anymore, it's just not there. I've used the default skin, and others, but no luck.
Is it gone?

Do you mean v13 Gotham, rather than v12 Frodo?

Nope, 12.3 Frodo.
Scratch that. I just noticed I had <backgroundupdate>true</backgroundupdate> in my advancedsettings.xml.
That totally hides the option.

In that case, it is in the same place that it was in v11 Eden:
XBMC -> Settings -> Videos -> Library
and
XBMC -> Settings -> Music -> Library
