Hey,

I installed xbmcbuntu Gotham today and I can't seem to find anything PVR related in the addons.

When I go to settings->Live TV->Enable the system crashes - i know i need a pvr client but there is not a PVR section in the addons.
I had tvheadend installed as front+backend on Frodo. I tried reinstalling xbmcbuntu a few times and doing some updates but I just can't seem to get anywhere.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Start here

Then go here

and then where it says: For Ubuntu clients click "SHOW" for PVR add-on install instructions [show]

Click on SHOW!

i was actually on that page a few times but I was certain the last time I installed it was through the addon manager (well i think it was preinstalled).

Here are the steps I did:

Ubuntu Apt Repository

1. Remove any older repository

Code:

sudo apt-add-repository -r http://ppa.launchpad.net/adamsutton/tvheadend

2. Import GPS signing key

Code:

curl http://apt.tvheadend.org/repo.gpg.key | sudo apt-key add -

3. add repository - i choose the stable

Code:

sudo apt-add-repository http://apt.tvheadend.org/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install tvheadend

4. as wheeliemonster said for ubuntu click [show] to reveal the options to install

Code:

sudo apt-get install xbmc-pvr-tvheadend-hts

Now I can access the webpage hosted by xbmc and also the client has been successfully linked through xbmc (go to addons, enabled once you do step 4).
