When SWMC is set up, and watching live TV, does it write to the HDD at all? If so, is it configurable on where it writes to?

Yes, it writes and reads from the hd to do live-tv because it needs to repackage wtv to ts format. It always uses the folder designated in wmc for recorded tv. So its configurable in that you can tell wmc to use a different location for rec tv storage.

Oh. No writing on the client hdd, at least as far as our addon. Xbmc I'm not sure.
