Hi There,
Since XBMC 13 supports 3D movie recognition, is it possible that XBMC makes a seperate folder on the home screen just as it does for movies, series etc.
The folder could be called "3D movies" when XBMC detects a certain tag in the filename it just displays the movie in this folder.
It would make selecting a type of movie easier imo.

As you wish... just make a smart playlist for your 3D content, make it a favourite and link to a custom homepage button.

I use Aeon Nox skin
I have a "3D" folder in the library which only contains 3D movies and another called "Movies" which contains 2D movies
I created two playlist. Movies & 3D

Movies - where path includes Movie Folder & path does not include 3D folder
3D - where path includes 3D folder & path does not include Movie folder

In Aeon Nox skin settings, i added a 3D menu to the home page.

Add "Movies" playlist to your Movies menu & "3D" playlist to your newly added 3D menu.
Once this has been correctly configured, when you click 3d menu, only 3d movies will be displayed. Same as movies menu, only your 2d movies will be displayed
