Mac mini XBMC video Full screen?!
#1
hi there,

I bought a Mac Mini, the plan whas to use it for XBMC.
I Got everything running, but i can't find a solution to make a full bluray iso playd ad full screen (1920x1080) i still see 2 black bars on the top and bottem.

What i tried:
Mac on 1080p 60hz true HDMI > screen does not fit.
Mac on 1080p 60hz true HDMI > set TV from 16:9 to full screen. Screen fits just fine. XBMX everthing is nice in full screen exept Full HD movies.
Mac on 1080p 24hz true HDMI > XBMC is a bit slower "laggy" Movies still wiht black bars.
Mac on 1080p 60hz true HDMI > XBMC > adjust movie refresh rate > its fast in the GUI wiht 60hz > when i select a video it switchs back to 1080p 24hz > still black bars!

i have no idea what i can do more, as someone else a solution for this. I hope so beacause everyone her as a Mac Tongue)

LOL. I can't stand to do this myself but if the black bars really bug you you can either crop them out, or change the aspect, or some combination of the two in the Video(OSD) while playing the video in XBMC.

You shouldn't do this though unless you want the cinematographer to pop out of the TV and stab you!
