Game support?

I believe I read that Gotham was supposed to have Libretro (or like RetroPlayer) support.
I saw a post about it being "not ready" yet. But then nothing past that...

Could someone enlighten me? Smile has this idea been dropped in favor of other plugin's like the Advanced Launcher?

A very brief summary is that Retroplayer is just a ton of code and currently only a single guy is doing the vast majority of the work. Pretty much the entire team is pumped about it, but it's definitely still a ways away from ready.

It's all about Helix. Check out the wiki for releases and it looks like Helix is going to be gamer orientated.

Due to "Global warming", Helix will be released according to a specific deadline, so Retro Player in XBMC probably won't be done in time. A Retro Player release won't necessarily be delayed, so no worried there, it will still happen in the same amount of time as if there was no "Global warming" concern.

All will be made clear this summer.
