I will say this,...the video cameras that people buy for Skype are in the $100 range to begin with,..so right there, this device fits a niche.

That's pretty much their business. If you just want the hardware, an Android box that sits on top of a TV with an HD webcam, there are several that already exist and are cheaper.
I'm surprised these guys are bothering making a box when they could just focus on the software side. Have people use a small dock with TV video out and their Android phone, and you have a much more attractive solution.

That's just a few of them. There are also a ton of HDMI sticks that have cameras, for use on side HDMI ports on TVs. Plus most Android boxes work with cheap USB web cams as well.
