I moved three folders from a different location into a sub folder of the location I have XBMC reading. XBMC sees files in every single other folder I have where there are media files in other subfolders for this location. It sees the folders moved over, but does not show any files inside in Files view. Any idea why? Thank you.

Have you tried clearing then updating the library ?

I have tried updating a number of times, but not clearing. I will try that now.

If I clear the library, I will lose the "watched" status on all my episodes I think. Is there a way to save and restore that?

I figured this out. I needed to change the sharing privileges. Seems they did not inherit the parent permissions properly.
