OUYA XBMC - AAC/DTS audio still not working after Chupacabra update
#1
Hi guys,

I've got a problem with the official OUYA version of XBMC, after the latest updates seems that I still don't have audio in files which are encoded with AAC, AC3 or DTS...

I've tried to find some threads on this but I was not able to, usign Gotham 13 works fine.

Anybody else having the same problem? Maybe it's a configuration problem on my side?

Sorry if this was this discussed before!

Thanks

Sideload the official Android version. The store versions will never support those audio formats due to licensing restrictions.

I see, I thought that the new update had the licenses, my mistake.

Thanks for the quick reply!

At least you got options! I wound up having to replace my TV after waiting over a year for Toshiba to fail to solve the same issue. DIfference is that XBMC cost you nothing, but Toshiba took $2k from me for the same experience.
