Specify extension for local nfo files

Can you specify a different extension for local nfo files using advancedsettings.xml

instead of .nfo use .xbmc-nfo or .xbmc-xml for example.

No I do not think so but why would you want to?

When xbmc reads the nfo file it adds the data to it's own database. It does not read the nfo on every startup
Confusion is just a state of mind.

Changing the extension of the nfo permission is setting you up for a world of future frustration. Just conform and be happy.
