Hey, so last years someone awesome was kind enough to post links to e3 streams from gametrailers so they could be used with xbmc, any chance of seeing that this year ? Wink

How do you use these in xbmc, I can view on spikes site, twitch etc but it may be nice to use xbmc Big Grin

Someone should create an app that covers all these events, e3, Apple,GDC, etc now that would be sweet!

So I think I just copy them to a txt file, rename it e3.strm and it should work? Or have I misunderstood that page Big Grin

thats pretty much it.
The bottom links are playlist files. I don't know if they will contain the stream when it starts, but they are currently playing the placeholder video.

I have access to twitch via ios app, browser, and spikes like stream via browser and last year I watched ign (as they had some additional coverage) via their app on ios.

But it will be nice to stay inside xbmc and not have to launch external apps.

You should create the ultimate geekcon app with all the free live feeds from all the events, and just update the links every year. That would be a sweet little app Big Grin

One last question, I take it each stream needs to be a separate file? Or can I add them all to 1 file and xbmc prompt me for which quality I want to play?

edit: mpc hc also seems to load it, you just paste link under open the file area, this is perfect now i can watch e3 stream on pc, tv, and even on my tablet in case i get stuck on toilet Wink

unfortunately doesn't work on xbmc gotham, be it windows or andro version.

for pc i'll use mpc hc, for tablet mx player seems to work, though you have to paste link rather than use strm file
