Hi,

I've recently setup my XMBC box and added all the locations which worked fine apart from the movies i.e. I wasn't see any in the main menu and could not see the artwork etc. When I go to Movies > Files, I can see them all there and play them etc. I also noticed there were Movies (2) and Movies (3) folders appears as locations. Would this be what it's not quite working properly? I searched for a way to delete these but it also doesn't seem that straightforward. Does anyone know if there's an easy way for me to get around the problem?

You have to scan the videos into the library. See Adding videos to the library (wiki)

I did redo that - it said the update would take 2 hours 45 minutes as I don't have too much there yet. I waited about four hours but nothing happened.

Can you get us a debug log (wiki) of when you attempt to scan them into the library?

All good - i think it was an issue with the skin I was using!
